Historic Hillsborough landmark remains in limbo

The Colonial Inn now contains peeling paint and rusted pipes. Chapel Hill businessman Francis Henry bought the place four years ago and promised to restore it.

Town officials took Henry to court when the inn started falling apart.

Last year, Henry made the minimum required repairs. There is still no word on what he plans to do with the property.
