11 Teens Suffer Minor Injuries In I-95 Accident

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A high-school graduation trip ended with a dangerous accident on Interstate 95 Sunday morning.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol said 11 people were injured when the 15-passenger van they were traveling in flipped over at about 8 a.m. Authorities said they thought the driver fell asleep at the steering wheel.

The group of teenagers were traveling back to Frederkicksburg, Va., from Myrtle Beach when the accident occurred.

None of the injuries were serious, authorities said.
