Raleigh Man Arrested In Connection With Three Burglaries

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a man in connection with three burglaries in one night.
Authorities said Kelly Pleasant, 29, of Maywood Avenue, broke into three industrial supply businesses in downtown early Sunday morning and allegedly stole numerous items, including drills, welders and vehicles worth more than $20,000 from the properties.
A Raleigh police officer captured Pleasant during the third alleged burglary.
Pleasant is charged with three counts of larceny pursuant to breaking and entering; one count of felony larceny; and three counts of felonious breaking and entering.
He was in jail on Sunday under $500,000 bond.
