Suspect Sought In Selma Shooting Death

SELMA, N.C. — Johnston County authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a Selma man on Saturday night.
Authorities said two men got into an altercation at 115 Judy Lane, and that Rigo Partida, 45, shot the other man, Gerardo Magana, 39, in the chest.
Magana was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to police, Partida fled the scene, and authorities were conducting a manhunt in the area late Saturday.
Partida might be in traveling in a burgundy Ford truck, authorities said.
