FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are looking for a man who they think killed a decorated war veteran.
On Tuesday, police issued warrants for 32-year-old Alphonso Terry in connection with the death of Shelly Wooten.
Back in April, Wooten was murdered in his home on Lincoln Drive. Authorities say the 78-year-old had been covered and bound. There was also a large amount of money missing from his house.
Authorities believe robbery was the motive.
