Man Accused Of Murdering Lover's Husband Faces Court Martial

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The accused murderer in a military love triangle is now on trial at Fort Benning, Ga.

Prosecutors say Staff Sgt. David Tillery drove to Fayetteville in April 2000 and killed his lover's husband, Air Force Sgt. Albert Adams.

Adams was stationed at Pope Air Force Base.

A Cumberland County judge dismissed the charges last year because of lack of evidence, but an Army judge says Tillery should face a court martial.
