Man Held At Knifepoint, Robbed In Home Invasion

SELMA, N.C. — Selma police are looking for a suspect in a home invasion and robbery.

Seventy-year-old R.B. Renfrow of Ethel Street said he answered a knock on his door, and a heavy-set African-American man forced his way inside.

Renfrow said the suspect held a knife to his throat and demanded his money.

Renfrow gave the suspect his cash, and the intruder fled on foot.

Police describe the assailant as an African-American man, 5-foot-10, in excess of 200 pounds.
