DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham man police thought had been kidnapped is safe at home.
Investigators began searching for Luther Barrett on Saturday after his sister found his front door kicked in and the house ransacked.
Police thought Barrettdnapped during a home invasion. Turns out, he eft his home without telling his sister.
The case is being treated as a break-in.
