Mike Peterson Trial Will Reportedly Remain In Durham
DURHAM, N.C. — It looks like Durham County residents will decide Mike Peterson's fate.
The novelist is accused of killing his wife, Kathleen. She was found dead at the bottom of a staircase in the couple's mansion.
A few weeks ago, District Attorney Jim Hardin said he might ask that jurors be brought in from other counties. However, WRAL has learned that jury notices have gone out to more than 300 Durham residents for the trial.
Jury selection starts May 5.
