CARY, N.C. — Car repair shops may not be driven out of downtown Cary after all.
The Town Council was considering a revitalization plan that would have pushed garages out in favor of more affluent shops and restaurants.
Under a new plan, car repair shops could stay, but they would need a special permit to expand.
Another public hearing will be held May 8.
