<b>WAKE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Traffic is improving after an early morning wreck along westbound Interstate 40 Tuesday.

The three-vehicle wreck happened at 6:10 a.m.  between Harrison Avenue and Aviation Parkway. Traffic has been reduced to two lanes.

Residual delays stretch as far back as the Wade Avenue exit.

The Highway Patrol said there are multiple injuries. At least two people were transported to a hospital.
