DURHAM, N.C. — One person was killed and another injured Sunday in a two-car traffic accident on I-40 in Durham County.
According to a report, a 1991 Saab and a 1993 Ford Station wagon got in a wreck near the Highway 54 exit near Chapel Hill.
Traffic was backed up for more than an hour, all the way to the Durham Freeway/I-40 split, as authorities worked to clear the scene.
