DURHAM, N.C. — The husband of a missing Durham musician may find it easier to get out of jail.
A judge has lowered the bond for Robert Petrick, who was indicted on six felony fraud indictments and is being held in the Durham County Jail.
Durham police said the charges are related to the Jan. 22 disappearance of Janine Sutphen, 57. Petrick reported his wife missing in January. He has not been called a suspect in her disappearance.
Petrick's bond was reduced from $50,000 to $10,000.
It is the second time his bond has been reduced. Petrick was originally held on $100,000 bond.
