HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A Harnett County family is mourning the loss of a teenage daughter killed in wreck Wednesday morning.
Bridget Weaver, 18, was driving on Spring Hill Church Road when her car veered off the road and hit a truck head-on, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Weaver was airlifted to Duke Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The Western Harnett High School senior was scheduled to graduate in May.
The driver of the truck was treated at Central Carolina Hospital and released.
