DURHAM — A Durham school bus driver is credited with saving children from a potentially dangerous situation Tuesday morning.
The driver was picking up students along the 1100 block of Juniper Street around 8:30 a.m. when the driver said a man stepped out of his home and pointed a shotgun at the bus.
The driver immediately took off, then reported the incident. Durham police are investigating.
