Wake Health Inspectors Shut Down Restaurant

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A Wake Forest Chinese restaurant will not be serving food anytime soon.

Wake County health inspectors shut down Xing Wang for scoring a 59.5. The lowest passing score is 70.

Some of the violations include:

Roaches and bugs were found in flour and in other areas of the kitchen and dining room.

Raw pork was stored with raw seafood.

Dirty plates were "everywhere," possibly because the dish washer was broken.

There was no hot water in the entire restaurant.

Xing Wang will need to go through the entire permitting process again before it can reopen.
