PERSON COUNTY, N.C. — A Person County middle school principal claims her resignation has nothing to do with allegations that she taped a child's hands together.
Lora Hodges said the incident was a playful gesture misunderstood by the student at Southern Middle School. Hodges says she resigned to pursue another job.
No charges were filed.
