Hub Of Community Colleges Aims To Increase Teachers In N.C.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A new plan is designed to increase the supply of teachers in North Carolina.

Edgecombe Community College

announced the establishment of a "hub" arrangement Tuesday.

The plan allows students to do their entire four years of course work at a community college near them. East Carolina University faculty will teach junior and seniors on\site and online.

Other community colleges participating in the hub are Nash, Wilson Tech and Vance-Granville.
