RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities say a girl was taken to the hospital after she was hit by a tow truck.
Authorities say Amanda Kelley was crossing Rock Quarry Road in the northbound lane at Fox Ridge Manor Road at around 5 p.m. Thursday when the accident occurred.
Authorities say Kelley received serious head injuries and was transported to WakeMed for treatment.
The accident is still under investigation.
