RALEIGH, N.C. — The Rev. Franklin Graham was in Raleigh on Wednesday and gave his thoughts on the looming war with Iraq.
Graham said the country needs to put politics aside and concentrate on unity.
"This is a time for all of us to support our president," Graham said. "Whatever decisions have to be taken in the next few hours, we need to rally behind him (President George W. Bush) and the men and women in harm's way.
"This isn't a matter of supporting or not supporting the war. We have to back our president. This is serious business."
Graham's relief organization,
Samaritan's Purse
, already has people standing by in Jordan, ready to move into Iraq when needed.
