Police Confiscate Video Equipment At Hillsborough Tanning Salon

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Hillsborough police raided a tanning salon after they claim female customers may have been secretly videotaped.
Authorities raided A Day At The Beach tanning salon on Orange Grove Street Tuesday and removed cameras, video equipment and 22 tapes.
Police are trying to identify the women on the tapes and how long the incidents have been going on.
Bill Apple, the owner of the tanning salon, is a retired Durham police officer.
The tanning salon later reopened for business.
