Rocky Mount Police Look For Suspect In Bank Robbery

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Rocky Mount authorities are looking for the person who robbed the First Union Bank on Sunset Street on Friday.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5-11 and 6-feet, wearing a blue-jean jacket, white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Police said the suspect entered the bank shortly before 2 p.m. and gave a teller an envelope and note demanding money. The teller placed the money in the envelope, and the suspect fled out the same door he had entered.
