Operation Homefront A New Resource For Military Families

e-mail print friendly

While Operation Enduring Freedom is in full swing, Operation Homefront is just getting under way.

Fayetteville and Cumberland County have launched a hotline for military families. Volunteers will be staffing the phones, giving spouses of deployed soldiers information on resources in the community.

Organizers are also working with Fort Bragg to make sure they are not duplicating services already offered on post.

Leaders said the concept behind the phonebank is for families to know in a time of crisis, they come first.

To reach the hotline, call(910) 323-CARE or (910) 323-2273.
