WILSON, N.C. — A 5-month-old baby was recovering Thursday after enduring several broken bones for more than a week.
Police were called to the Wilson Medical Center after the little boy was taken to the ER on Wednesday.
Doctors say bones in both of of the boy's legs were broken as many as 10 days ago.
Detectives say the family is visiting from California and that the injuries happened there.
Wilson authorities are forwarding the case to California authorities.
