WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities have identified the victim in a Wake County house fire.
Firefighters were called to a home the intersection of Old Timber and Norwood Road late Monday night.
Authorities say Melvyn Nanne Denning Watson died in the fire. Authorities say she died of smoke inhalation.
Police believe the fire was accidental.
