VANCE COUNTY, N.C. — State Attorney General Roy Cooper has ordered a Vance County mobile home dealer accused of ripping off buyers to stop.
Donald Gupton's company's operate as Dynasty Homes of Henderson, Creative Real Estate, and Superior Housing Center.
Cooper says Gupton and his associates deceived customers about the costs of homes and lied to banks about property values and customer credit.
In addition to the injunction, Cooper is seeking refunds for consumers and civil penalties.
