Bus Driver Injured After Greyhound Bus Wrecks On I-85 In Vance County

— A Greyhound bus has crashed on southbound Interstate 85.

The wreck happened just before noon between mile marker exit 213 (Bypass 158) and 214 (N.C. 39).

The driver was reportedly injured only slightly.

According to Henderson police, the driver was trying to avoid a deer.

No charges had been filed as of late Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say there were no passengers on the bus.
