HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A cornea transplant worked out well for a Harnett County woman.
Annette McAllister was blind in one eye for more than 14 years. When her daughter, Deadra, was murdered in early Feburary, new hope emerged from the sad situation.
McAllister received her daughter's cornea and can see now.
McAllister is still wearing a patch, but her latest eye exam confirmed her vision is restored.
