RALEIGH, N.C. — Drivers should brace for bottlenecks on the beltline.
The Department of Transportation is closing the inside lanes of Interstate 440 from Poole Road to New Bern Avenue beginning Wednedsay night.
The lane closures will be in place for about a year and will allow construction for the Knightdale Bypass tie-in.
