RALEIGH, N.C. — Due to hazardous icy conditions, there will be no city of Raleigh garbage or recycling collections Monday.
Residences regularly scheduled for Monday service should bring the garbage to the curb for collection on Tuesday.
Those regularly scheduled for Tuesday garbage service will be collected at the curb on Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday garbage and trash collections will be on regular schedules.
There will be no yard waste collected this week.
Crews will collect Monday's regularly scheduled recycling route on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday and Wednesday recycling routes will be collected on schedule.
As a safety precaution, the crews and trucks will begin their routes later than normal on Tuesday. Therefore, collections may be later in the day than usual.
