MORRISVILLE, N.C. — A chemical spill forced the evacuation of dozens of employees at a Morrisville plant.
Authorities evacuated several buildings around 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Cardinal Health Development facility near Aviation Parkway.
The area was immediately evacuated. All safety systems were effective.
There were no injuries, and the spill was contained by Hazmat crews.
More than 100 employees were evacuated from the facility.
Cardinal Health will begin a full analysis of the spill on Monday and take all necessary steps to prevent a future occurrence.
