RALEIGH, N.C. — A police officer was involved in a wreck with a suspected drunken driver in north Raleigh late Thursday.
Raleigh police said Officer J.M. Dorsey was driving south on Six Forks Road just before midnight when a northbound vehicle turned right in front of the officer.
Michael Allen, 25, was charged with DWI and having an open container of alcohol in the car.
