DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham grand jury has indicted the five people charged with killing an elderly Durham woman.
Lois Cannady, 89, was shot to death in her home as she called 911 to report a break in. Sheriff's deputies later arrested Greg Lee Junior, Michael Sullivan, Jerome "Little" Freeman, Ricky Morris and Marcus Hawley.
All five have been charged with murder, and they will be tried as adults.
Hawley was just 14 when he was arrested.
