DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police investigators arrested Gerald "Mac" McLain, 31, in Raleigh Tuesday and charged him with committing a first-degree sexual offense and obtaining property by false pretense.
Investigators said McLain, who is the manager of the Holiday Inn Express on Guess Road, allegedly told an 18-year-old woman that he was a photographer and would help her assemble a portfolio to be a model.
The sexual assault allegedly occurred during a photography session. McLain is charged with obtaining photos of the teen by false pretense.
McLain was placed in the Durham County Jail under a $500,000 bond.
