RALEIGH, N.C. — There is a new centerpiece to the Carter-Finley Stadium construction project in Raleigh.
The Wolfpack Turf sculpture is now in place.
Designed by wildlife artist Dick Idol, the mountain scene features six wolves guarding the entrance to the new football center.
The monument is between three and four stories tall and is part of the $50 million fund-raising project to upgrade North Carolina State University's football facilities.
