CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill-Carrboro City
school officials said they have narrowed a redistricting plan down to four options.
School officials said reassignment is necessary to fill a new elementary school opening in the fall. The reassignment will affect more than 1,000 students.
The four options will be unveiled at Thursday's school board meeting. It is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Estes Hills Elementary school.
A final vote will take place in February.
