Five soldiers assigned to the U.S. Army Special Operations Support Command will receive the Bronze Star Medal for their meritorious service during Operation Enduring Freedom in a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Wednesday at John F. Kennedy Plaza.

Officiated by Col. Kevin A. Leonard, SOSCOM's commander, Wednesday's ceremony will recognize the unprecedented insight and solutions to time-sensitive and priority logistics support each of the five soldiers provided while supporting the global war on terrorism.

The award recipients are: Maj. Christopher O. Mohan, 528th Special Operations Support Battalion; Capt. Troy S. Glassman, Headquarters, Headquarters Company, SOSCOM; 1st Lt. Victor E. Bruno, 528th SOSB; Sgt. 1st Class Terry V. Drake, 528th SOSB; Staff Sgt. Michael Q. Sydnor, 528th SOSB.

Each of these logisticians, assigned during OEF to Joint Task Force-South and Task Force 11, were credited with providing critical support by ensuring Special Forces received fuel, ammunition, essential maintenance and signal communication support.
