WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — School leaders are investigating an early morning school bus wreck in Wake County Tuesday.
Officials said one school bus rear-ended another bus near Optimist Farm Road and Sunset Lake Road. They said one of the bus drivers said she was distracted by a sick child and ended up crashing into the bus in front of her.
No one was seriously hurt. One child went home with a sore back.
Disciplinary action could be taken against the driver of the second bus.
