U.S. Senators To Reform Vaccine Compensation Law

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — It looks like pressure from parents with autistic children is paying off on Capitol Hill.

On Wednesday, a number of Triangle parents joined a rally in Washington, D.C., rally to protest a section in the Homeland Security Act that would prevent families from suing drug manufacturers if they believe vaccines hurt their children.

On Friday, a group of senators announced they have reached an agreement to repeal the section and reform the vaccine compensation law.
