DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police said Thomas Bennett, 17, turned himself in Wednesday night for his involvement in a Dec. 17 shooting at an Amoco station parking lot on Avondale Drive.
Bennett is charged with the murder of 22-year-old Carl Cary. Cary died in the Dec. 17 shooting after arguing with two men.
Officials are still trying to track down a second suspect.
