KENLY, N.C. — A Kenly man has been arrested for allegedly beating his father and holding him captive inside his own home.
Investigators have charged Robert James with kidnap and assault. He's accused of beating his father, then nailing the doors to his father's home shut, so he couldn't escape.
Investigators say the father wasn't seriously hurt.
