Nine Breed Rescue Groups To Help Find Dogs New Homes

Here are the nine Breed Rescue organizations that assisted in the seizure of 44 dogs during last week's bust of a dog-breeding operation in Randolph County.

Anyone interested in providing a home for any of the dogs, who had been living in inhumane conditions, is asked to contact the following groups:

The woman who had been breeding the dogs, Lynda Johnson, said she did not have enough money to properly care for the dogs.

Officials said the dogs are all purebreds. The breeds include boxers, Labradors, cocker spaniels and Weimaraners.
