RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for a man they said robbed a convenience store just days after Christmas.
Investigators said the man held up the EPMart-Exxon on Atlantic Avenue just after midnight on Dec. 29.
Police said the suspect bought a burrito, left the store and then returned to complain.
They said the clerk offered the suspect a refund, but he wanted all of the money in the cash register.
The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a white male, 22 to 32 years old, approximately 6'2" and weighing about 170 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt. Police said he fled in a white Jeep Wrangler with soft black top, alloy wheels and chrome rims.
Raleigh police are asking anyone with information concerning this robbery to contact them at 890-3913.
