JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Johnston County man is accused of stealing a deputy's car and dragging the officer with it.
Investigators say Todd Johnson of Four Oaks dragged Deputy Tammy Johnson for several feet. She had been called in to help a state trooper with a traffic stop involving the suspect.
Tammy Johnson was treated for bumps and bruises.
Investigators say Todd Johnson crashed the car in Four Oaks before officers caught him.
