CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill's fire chief is trying to ignite a new job search.

Chief Dan Jones wants to add 18 more crew members. He said that will improve the town's ability to battle fires.

Jones also wants to hire the company's first full-time training officer.

The plan would cost the town about $800,000 a year.
