Keiron Williams, 22, of Daye Street in Hillsborough was arrested after he turned himself in late Sunday. Williams was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and several counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
Investigators are still looking for a third suspect, Kevin "K.J." Burnette Johnson, 19, of 2217 Concord Street. Johnson has also been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and several counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. Johnson is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds with a light brown complexion.
Earlier this week, investigators arrested Mike Dwayne Brown, 21, of 3031Weymouth Street and charged him with 17 felony counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill in connection with the shooting.
The bus driver and two students from Pearsontown Elementary School suffered minor injuries when a bullet shattered the back window of the bus as it was traveling on Merrick Street.
