Another Wake County Bank Robbed

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Raleigh Police Department has reported that a local bank was robbed Friday morning.

The robbery is the 14th in Wake County this month. There were three robberies in Raleigh this past Wednesday, and there were two robberies in Wake County on the previous Wednesday - the day the recent ice storm hit.

According to police, Friday's robbery occurred at the Bank of America branch at 321 Oberlin Road. A lone white male in a yellow rain coat entered the bank around 10:30 a.m. and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, between 170 and 180 pounds, with a beard.
