TARBORO, N.C. — After a seven-month search, Edgecombe County sheriff's deputies say they've found the man who killed a high-school student last spring.
Deputies found Marvin Watkins in jail in New York on assault charges.
Investigators say Watkins shot and killed 18-year old "TK" Knight last May, just two weeks before the football standout was to graduate from Tarboro High School.
Watkins will be brought back to North Carolina Wednesday or Thursday.
