Six Buses Vandalized At West Johnston High School

BENSON, N.C. — Officials said six buses were vandalized at West Johnston High School in Benson.

Officials said the vandalism occurred sometime Monday night. They said seats on the buses were slashed, and the buses were trashed. Authorities said a fire extinguisher was released on a bus, leaving a white residue behind.

There is no word yet on any suspects.

This week has been tough on school buses. Three activity buses and a ticket booth were vandalized at Leesville Road High School in Raleigh over the weekend. No arrests have been made in that incident.

In Cumberland County, one man was arrested for

stealing a school bus

from Baldwin Elementary School. Police finally caught up with the driver when the bus got caught on a road that was under construction.
