Wolfpack's Collins Breaks Bone In Hand

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State center Jordan Collins fractured the fourth metacarpel on hisleft hand during Tuesday's basketball practice. He will wear a functionalsplint for the next six weeks but should still be able to practice.

Collins averaged 8.4 minutes per game in 30 games last season. The6-10, 254 Hyattsville, Md., native has lost more than 20 pounds since lastseason.
